Weightloss

Tirzepatide Semaglutide helps your body both regulate blood sugar and decrease how much food you want to eat. Originally developed for type 2 diabetes to lower your A1C.

How does Tirzepatide and or Semaglutide help with weight loss? They both help with weight loss by decreasing food intake and slowing down how fast food travels through your digestive tract (called delaying gastric emptying). This may help you to feel fuller for a longer period of time and reduce how much food you eat. It also helps to decrease cravings and helps your body utilize and break down the food you do consume more efficiently.

Who can not take Tirzepatide or Semaglutide? It is not for people with a history of liver or kidney issues, or with a history of pancreatitis or type 1 diabetes.

What is the difference between Tirzepatide and Semaglutide? Semaglutide is a type of drug called a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (often called GLP-1s for short). Tirzepatide is a combination drug that acts on the GLP-1 receptor along with another receptor in the brain called glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).
